| Thank you, WhoMe??? My Blog was selected. Come check out my Blog Entries "Auctions are one of the greatest joys of WDC..." The latter is a DIY of building your own contest. If you need help as you put one together, just call on me! I will be overjoyed to help. Yours, -William | |
. . . Balloons compliments of: "WDC's 'PINK' and 'Blue' Party - Closed" | |
| Hiya William, just jumping in to say 'ello and thanks for the fanship - it's certainly reciprocated. You take care of you and yours. Best always, Drew | |
| Thanks, Drew, You have done a lot in your Portfolio and I hope to spend some time there soon. Yours, -William | |
| Thanks, Bad Wolf I like what you did with kgraybill item titles. | |
| You know, I read your "Where Jackles Hide?" when it was a book item. Now I look forward to rating and reviewing the whole thing. | |
| And no one is on Notebook these days either. If you come to notebook to see what I am up to, please go to my "Blog" instead. I think you will enjoy reading about the birth of "Blog"! (Blog #15). | |
| Uhhmmm, now the comment section under the member's name seems to work. Maybe I have to answer each member consecutively in order to leave the comment...??? | |
| It's working now. | |
| There was a bug this morning with notebook replies. | |
| Thanks, Story Master Alright! That explains everything. I appreciate all the hard work you do. Yours, -William | |
| Hi, Diane Thanks so much for celebrating with me! This is such a special event in my life! Wow! I am just bowled over! Like you, WDC is a second home to me! Writing is such a strong force in my life and WDC has helped my growth so much! Thanks again for your warm welcome! Yours, -William | |
| Oh, BTW, Mara You reviewed a special piece that I so enjoyed writing. Here it is. Review of "A Brush with Death" My Mom is Irish and I grow a red beard. I am the only one in my family who has dark brown hair. 5 of my brothers and sisters have red hair and Tommy had blond hair. Mom's a Bewley and I believe they found a Bewley castle on the southeastern coast of Ireland. Mom's Mom was a Cowart before she married Grandpa Reed and the Cowarts were, I think, Scottish Irish. Thanks again, -William | |
| Thanks, Kim I got to know you a bit yesterday as we shared comments on the NewPort change. Not only are you among the first to congratulate me now, but within 20 days of me joining WDC on December 6,2005, on December 25, 2005 you welcome me aboard with this Review of "The Speaker" Thanks so much for being a part of my wonderful WDC experience! Yours, -William | |
| Hi, Mara Thanks so much for the Congrats! I feel humbled, grateful, and awed all at once! I retired a number of years ago. I need to put my more recent picture on the bio. I received a hit by a lonely heart since posting it yesterday! I have a lot of sea stories that I need to move to my port! Thanks again for sharing this time of celebration with me! Yours, -William | |
| Okay, here's the scoop. When I click comments under a member's comment, they are not showing up. So, I will put the comments at the top instead of under your name. | |
| Uuhhhmmm, where are the comments I am leaving? Maybe they will show up in a bit of time. | |

| Congratulations on your new WDC promotion! | |
| Hi, Mara Thanks so much! I am humbled, grateful, and awed, all at the same time! I retired years ago. I think I should have used a more recent picture as I have already been hit upon! I do have a number of sea stories and should add them to my Portfolio. Thanks again for the Congrats! Yours, -William | |
| Enjoyed seeing your bio photo and reading over your interests on your bio page! | |
| Thanks, Story Mistress I used the new Slider's function to line up my likes and thoughts! -William | |
| Congratulations on your promotion to Preferred Author, William! | |
| Just thought I'd let you know, I love your work I'm reading through it and I'll be sure to review some once I'm not all busy with school... hence, not on a Monday! | |
| Thanks, Rip I look forward to your visits. So, what are your favorite subjects? I loved school and college! I love learning; running in the beautiful fields of discovery and new thoughts; and I loved the friendly competition between friends as we compared the results of each test before we came back in to hear the scores from the Professor! There are few things better than picking some scholarly friends and sharing the universe of knowledge together! Take care! -William | |
| I pushed the wrong button and I am now a fan of myself. I can't find how to remove myself. | |
| Well, I think there is a tension between having high self esteem (believing in yourself) and being conceited (stuck on yourself)! Even more important is the perception problem. That is, if you are stuck on yourself, it is not good to trumpet it! If you do, you will be the only one stuck on yourself! | |
| By the way, if anyone makes the same mistake, just click your "bull horn" and it will toggle you back so that you are "a favorite" instead of "a fan" of yourself! | |
| Loving it! | |
Speaking of contests, I would love for you to check out mine!
