Documents
These DOC and PDF files are added directly into member portfolios. Both of these file types provide writers with the most flexibility available in formatting their writing.

Books
The five (5) types of books include collections, journals, novels, novellas and short stories. For more information on each, please read: Book Item Sub Types.

Web Pages
Writing.Com Premium Members may use Web Pages to create detailed biographies, post their resumes or display their favorite items in their choice of format!

Interactive Stories
Read the first chapter, then choose the next one! These choose-your-own-endings are written by any Writing.Com member that wishes to participate. Readers are given plot choices at the end of each chapter. When you come to the end of a storyline, it's your turn to add a chapter!

Madlibs
Madlibs are a relaxing, and most times witty, diversion from the norm. Readers must insert their own words into the author's story, resulting in an often hilarious outcome.

Campfire Creatives
Imagine sitting around a campfire with a group of your friends. The leader of the campfire begins a story that is then passed around the group for their input. With up to 25 participants, you never can tell where these are going to lead!

In & Outs
An In & Out will only show up to the last 100 additions made to it. Once the limit is reached, each new addition bumps an older one off. One in, one out.
