"WDC is the second writing site I've used and probably the last.
The feedback you get on this site is incredibly helpful as sometimes it is impossible to spot your own mistakes.
Since joining WDC, I've found myself writing more and more. I feel encouraged to write now that I'm associating with other writers.

"Writing.Com - About five years back, I had registered as a writer at WDC, forgot all about it and never progressed with any writing.
In 2008 for reasons I cannot remember, I signed up at Writing.Com again(must have been the urge to write!!). Again I totally forgot about it until about four months later when I received a reminder.
This time I was determined not to let off the opportunity,registered, wrote and am still writing. It has been a year now and WDC has been a positive influence in my life.
I enjoy being a member and having the opportunity to test my writing skills and capabilities. Not to mention having made some wonderful friends and reading many talented works.

"Its not normal for a website to be so accomodating and providing yet not wanting so much from us writers. I feel so free and unrestrained and occasionally getting caught up in the bliss of Writers Haven. I've surfed the web for so many writers sites and get discouraged on the FIRST page. But here the only time i'll get discouraged is when i'll hate it[Writing.com]. And that aint never gonna happen."

"I was considered a very imaginative young boy because I wrote stories at the age of five, but I had no readers to read my stories. Recently I stumbled upon this site, and instantly fell in love. I can write until my fingers ache, and my hand drip of sweat. I was almost instantly drowned in reviews, and gladly took the kind advice of my fellow authors, and readers. Because of this site my love of writing grows grows faster than my heart can beat. Thank you Writing.com for letting me release my dreams of writing into the world!"

"When I first came to Writing.com, I was looking for a place to post my latest works, get some friendly criticism, and read some great stories; I got much, much more than I'd hoped for! On most writing sites, it takes days for your stories to be rated by anyone. Here, I got a full review within the first day! I was shocked at finding REALLY great stories and poems on this site without even having to search. I may be new here, but I already know that I'm going to become addicted-- and help my writing skills along the way."
"When I first logged onto Writing.com in May 2008, I had NO idea how much I would love it! I have tried other writing sites, and found them mediocre. The quality of feedback and friendliness of the members here simply shocked me. In my first week I got a number of incredibly positive, helpful, and encouraging reviews. When I was anonymously given my first free upgrade, I was astonished. Imagine my reaction to my second one!
