Open your eyes, don't run away.
Just a shadow darkens the day.
Show fear the door and life the way.
Keep hope alive and death at bay.

Make a new friend, go fall in love.
Learn how to live like peaceful Doves.
Cast a glance up to pure blue skies.
Tell the truth now, don't ever lie.

Wipe your tears dry and smile again.
To our heart's joy, God is our friend.
When despair calls so tragically.
Let God's love envelope thee.
