Corruption
A slightly philosophical poem on corruption. Written: 24 August 2002

Corruption will seek you,
  no matter where you run.
Frightful to think of what it shall do,
  when the chase is done.

Will you fear it and try to hide,
hope it will miss you, pass on by?
Or will you face it, stride for stride,
with strength to conquer, not to cry?

We live our life, day by day,
  struggling to make our aims.
Corruption plays a part in a big way,
for it is the only thing that keeps us sane.
