The value of a friend
A poem to a friend when they were going through a lot. Written: 02 October 2002

No matter the trials you may face,
There are none better you can trust,
Than a friend who's waiting just in case,
A helpful ear becomes a must.

Remember no matter how bad the going gets,
Or whenever you need a friend that's true,
Against all odds, against all bets,
I'll always be here to see you through.
