Cool air and dark clouds
Hover as I walk the broken road The smell of rain lingers Entices a memory of days past Take the stairs to the back door Step inside the sheltered safety As life falls from the heavens Triggered by my arrival Calling out my name Whispers in the wind Ignore the calls of life Stare from the dry room Sit on the couch and sigh Living on paper Suffocating in the rain
