Love is not a tragedy
This poem is from when I finally found what I did not know I was looking for.

I finally found the one
I been looking for.
He has shown me respect,
love, and so much more
He took me out of my deep, dark grave
And showed me the sun outside my cave

He lets me be who I want to be
He knows I want nothing,
but to be free
The sky is blue and the wind is serene
Just before It was cold and mean

So many times I wondered why not me
This thing you call love what could it be
I didn't think it was true
I had no clue

I was a young girl trying not to feel
Love was some big huffed up ideal
I was only hiding how badly I wanted love
Someone came calling from up above
This man I call Joy is who I was sent
My life of unfeeling finally went
