To Romance or Not To Romance

To romance or not to romance, which one should it be?
I wonder as I gaze across...through the thick, thick sea
Of people that I work with-employees by the droves
To gaze upon the hottie with the tight, form-fitting clothes.
Yummm he's such a looker that the blind could even see
So I better hurry over...while he still is free
My heart is beating hard and my mind is all awhirl
Can I make it to his side before another girl?
He's new, I've never seen him 'cause surely he stands out
And I know I would have fainted by that luscious pout!!
My hands are getting sweaty, my knees are feelin' weak
But I am too determined to let myself get beat!
He smiles in my direction, I'm half-way to this man,
Can I make it in one piece, can I fulfill my plan?
Now I'm nearly to him and my throat is dry and tight
But I smile anticipating what we'll do tonight
He reaches out his arm and I reach to take his hand
When he says, "Sweet heart!" past me toward a burly man!!
He takes MY hottie's hand while I'm quickly pushed aside
I've gotta tell you, girls, that this one hurt my pride
So I sucked it up...'cause I got beaten by a 'HE'!
The answer to my question is...this is NOT to be!!
