Mortal Remembrance
A poem or mortal realisation, for even the things we create other will eventually destroy

Mortal Remembrance

For everything a man may build
Another will eventually destroy
Its time of being as finite as our own human existence
What it becomes in life determines remembrance
A foundation of memories
To be spoken of in wonder
Spoken in disdain
Or as the many of us will eventually come to realise
Never to be spoken of at all
