In Silence
Inspired by a dead friend.

I buried my love in the tomb of eternity
I surrendered in time.

I buried my trust in the valley of repentance
I embraced solitude.

Like a ghost I now wander
My tears like rain and thunder,

in silence...

I hear redemption laughing on my grave
Like a firefly dancing,
Her clothes woven with pain.

My existence now insipid
in the course of my being.
My memories forlorn,

in silence...

My mind's vessel was
but my heart's desire.
Enchanted by my fear of life
I suffocated my truest needs,

in silence...

In silence, for silence I am.
In silence, for in silence I dwell...
