Up marble steps they march,
Shouting, some they offend,
Hoping voices will be heard,
To the law they will amend,
Stepping away from the window
They know how to pretend,
Not to have seen or heard,
So they won't need to defend,
Choices made, party lines held,
While unborn souls still ascend.
