My friend, I think of the joy you brought to my heart.
Unconditional love you gave me will remain a part.
Your white face with the black circled brown eyes.
Your protruding mouth with its distinctive overbite.


I have missed you a lot my sweet devoted friend,
My heart will treasure your memories until the end,
You gave me so much throughout your long life,
For 17 years your wants were willingly sacrificed,


You was just a Kerr dog some people would say.
You were my best friend through your living days.
I know God had a special place reserved for you.
Where you're young running again and jumping too.


Every time I look at a dog I see your sweet face.
Your memories no other dog could ever replace.
Sleep my old buddy in an eternal restful sleep.
I will join you someday in heaven so don't weep.
