It's Okay

A/N: A poem written for my daughter's friend, whom lost her Dad last month in a car accident. I feel this poem could be for any child that has lost a loved one; just to tell them what they are feeling..is okay!

It's Okay

Saying goodbye to a loved one is hard to do,
But they can live on forever through you.
It's okay to cry and let your feelings out,
It's okay to be mad and to have doubts.

I know you are lost, hurt and so very mad,
I wish I could take away all of the sad.
It's okay to cry and let your feelings out,
It's okay to be mad and to have doubts.

Words can't show what we really want to say,
Know that there will be good and bad days.
It's okay to cry and let your feelings out,
It's okay to be mad and to have doubts.

They will live on, in your thoughts and heart.
Yes, it will be be hard for you to be apart.
