Sweet Dreams
Every night she sits with me At the bottom of my bed Dressed in white with silver hair I think she might be dead Her face is pale, she looks quite old Her eyes seem awfully dark Though I try to speak with her There’s only silence, no remark Sometimes she makes me very scared But my mom says not to worry It’s only gran, she’s passed away Reading your dreams a perfect story If you enjoyed this poem and would like to read more of my work I currently have two books available that can be obtained through the links below. Velvet Death – The Dark Poetry Anthology http://www.lulu.com/content/177683 Velvet Paradox – The 2nd Dark Poetry Anthology http://www.lulu.com/content/254973
