Wonders

Warm spring air
glides through the trees,
warm yellow sun
shines brightly in the sky.
life blossoms all around.

breeze sends chills down my spine,
like fingers,
fingers, soft and gently
caressing my neck,
turning my face,

warm, soft brown eyes
tinged with green
twinkle with mystery
cunning smile
tempts and teases
strong arms lead and guide
to a land full of wonder

full of life, love, hope, promise, laughter,
more wonders than stars
twinkling in the sky like diamonds
more warmth than the sun
shining from above
more love than my heart
has ever known or could ever
         have imagined.
