I would always say, "I doubt us". You would always say, "We can be". I would always see the darkened clouds, You would see the Sun shining over me. You would always find the Stars above. I'd always have my eyes closed so tight. You would always pry them open wide, I would always let you past my pride. Never could I be without you, Never would I want to be. Always I will want to see us, Together for eternity. You would always paint the Songbird. I would always write the words I heard. Soon you'd be trapped within me. I lacked the courage to set you free. I had always heard of this thing. Where someone made your heart sing. But I never knew it to be true, Until I laid my eyes upon you. Never could I be without you, Never would I want to be. Always I will want to see us, Together for eternity.
