The Atom’s Heart Split the atom's heart, and lo! Within it thou wilt find a sun! Persian Mystic Poem The sun within the atom's heart burst forth. Revealing a power never seen before. Creating a mushroom rising from the desert floor. Reality and illusion melted; congealed as glassy beads. Yesterday passed, buried beneath White Sands. The present gave birth to a future unknown and feared. Humanity survived march ed on . Carrying with it t h e knowled- age taken from the atom' s heart .
