Spending time looking back at one's life, Is never the thing to do. But baby I'm glad that if I'm looking back, I'm looking back at you. We have spent some time together, And we have been apart. Sometimes what looks like the end, Is really just the start. I've had my share of dark days. I've had my sleepless nights. Baby I've spent so much time with you, When I knew things just weren't right. They say God in Heaven can forgive you, I know it to be true. It's all I have left to hope for, To get a second chance with you. Some say there is this thing called fate. They say you feel it in your bones. If it's a feeling like being with you. Then I know I won't be alone. So baby I just want you to know, When I feel the stormy wind. I'll imagine I'm in the eye of the storm, And back in your arms again.
