VISITING JUPITER Once in awhile we need a break from the trials and tribulations. A short getaway, real or imagined. Tonight I am visiting Jupiter. The name brings expectations of a lively, vital planet where dreams can thrive and grow to a welcome conclusion. Change is good, but it's better to just take it slow and easy, no sudden stops - just a pause in a humdrum everyday life. I close my eyes and am transported to another world, another time, no timeclocks, no deadlines... I am free to be me. And should I choose to stay, leaving behind all I've worked for all my life? might be hard - no reason to stay... It's just a visit - a time-out, needed right now; and if the world is still here when I get back... Perhaps people will have learned not to fight, or hate, or try to be other than what they are. I've changed, maybe they will, too. Countrymom 9/16/05
