On film
Rated: E | Poetry | Arts | #1012655
Written after watching a film that left me depressed about mankind.
On Film

Blasting across the screen,
In shades of black and white,
I see another's dream.
Where is man's noble sight?

In the passing of another day
Another cinema hits the floor.
A cinematographer's fashion statement
Walking out the believable door.

Somewhere between "Citizen Kane"
And nightly viewing choice,
There's a message for you and me
Hidden in the screenwriter's voice.
