Queen Mother Gwen

This is about Princess/Queen's Arabella's step mother.
Queen Mother Gwen was born in Ireland to a Count James and Countess Shannon. Gwen also has a sister Joan. Gwen married Prince Ewdard of England when her family visited the Royal family in England. Gwen fell in love with the handsome Prince who had brown hair and stern but brown eyes. Edward was attracted to the blonde headed petite woman but was never in love with her. Gwen was hurt when Edward had an affair with a gypsy woman Raven. The Queen made the best of things because she thought Edward loved her and he never had an affair with another woman since. She gave birth to a little girl named Athena who was beautiful with blonde hair and she made Ewdard and Gwen very happy. Gwen was never beautiful but she was attractive.

A few years later, Raven died and the gypsies bought Arabella, King Edward and Raven's illegtimate daughter to the castle to be raised by the King and her. Gwen hated Arabella on sight. She was jealous and she was a reminder of Edward's deception. She ignored the little girl and when Arabella was older and more beautiful then her daughter, she hated her all the more. When Arabella became a teen-ager, she and the Queen were always feuding. Gwen would try to make Athena get all the attention and it was worse when Arabella and Athena loved each other like true sisters. No one could break that bond. When the Princesses would hide the foxes on Fox Hunt Day, Gwen blamed Arabella for everything that went wrong at the castle. Edward told Gwen that she could move back to Ireland but he was keeping Athena as well as Arabella. Over the years, the Queen kept thoughts to herself. She was heartbroken the day Edward had told the King and Queen of Wales that marriage wasn't about love. Gwen was a buiness arrangement but his best friend. Love was never part of the deal. Gwen had thought that Edward had loved her all those years because he had just had one affair, that being with the gypsy woman.

Arabella and Athena deceived the King and Gwen when she blackmailed the Friar into marryimg her to Prince Cameron and Athena to the Ambassador's son Rowlin in a secret ceremony unbeknownst to the King and Queen. The public Wedding had been arranged by the King for Arabella to marry Rowlin and Athena to marry Cameron. The King died of an heart attack when he found out about the deception. Gwen had slapped Arabella and they feuded all the more as Gwen and Arabell's hatred grew for each other. Arabella threatened to feed Gwen to the dragons. When Arabella was named Queen, Gwen was disappointed and flew into a rage.Athena was iher sick sister Joan and Arabella's gypsy family came to visit and one stoled Gwen's jewels that she had left. When Gwen came home, she was upset to find that her jewels were gone and Arabella had a twin sister Anna that had shown up. Gwen had no idea that her life could get worse. Arabella replaced Gwen's jewels but the hatred was getting worse between them. Athena became pregnant and Gwen started to mellow. Arabella helped Athena give birth to a breached child. Gwen started to care about Arabella and realized that she was wrong about her. Arabella had tried to reach out to her as a daughter months before. Gwen and Arabella formed a bond and became mother and daughter. When Arabella's gypsy grandfather Johnny Rango's wife died, he came to the castle and turned his attention to Gwen. They fell in love and got married. The Queen Mother had finally found happiness. She had a new grand daughter plus a step grandson and step grand daughter by Anna. Gwen was content with her life at last!
