Party On
Solemnity is the name of the game when observing the depths of absurdity

The pity party's getting under way,
and it's bound to drag on all day long.
I won't be attending because it's not my way,
but to those who would go, I say party on.

And it's bound to go all day long
as the meek minded fight for attention.
But to those who are going, I say party on.
It's not my fault they engage in such twisted interaction.

As the meek minded fight for attention,
demons turn beneficial in the blink of an eye.
It's not my fault they engage in such twisted interaction.
After all, they prey on those pitiful cries.

Demons turn beneficial in the blink of an eye,
yet they still stab those poor brutes deep in their backs.
After all, they prey on those pitiful cries
and soullessly accept the corruption-bred kickbacks.

Yet they still stab those poor brutes deep in their backs,
all the while dreaming of the praises they'll receive.
They soullessly accept the corruption-bred kickbacks;
they dream of pristine images handcrafted to deceive.

All the while dreaming of the praises they'll receive,
these "philanthropists" blather on, boosting their righteous façades.
They dream of pristine images handcrafted to deceive
so they can carry out their emotional fraud.

These "philanthropists" blather on, boosting their righteous façades,
but they don't realize people stopped listening.
So they can carry out their emotional fraud;
they scream a little louder, just enough to be jarring.

But they don't realize people stopped listening
when they started giving clues of their cruel intentions.
They scream a little louder, just enough to be jarring.
Such screaming only leads to outsiders asking questions.

When they started giving clues of their cruel intentions,
I was vindicated, knowing everyone was played.
Such screaming only leads to outsiders asking questions,
but I only said, "They got what they deserved for the way they behaved."

I was vindicated, knowing everyone was played.
The pity seekers were in a lurch, their "supporters" exposed.
I simply said, "They got what they deserved for the way they behaved."
Inside, I was delighted to see all the frauds deposed.

The pity seekers were in a lurch, their "supporters" exposed.
It's about damn time they were pushed from their soapboxes!
Inside, I was delighted to see all the frauds deposed
and to see everyone's goals reduced to ashes.

It's about damn time they were pushed from their soapboxes!
Now it's time for the mellow outsiders to party on,
and to see everyone's goals reduced to ashes
is good enough reason to chill for an eon.

Now it's time for the mellow outsiders to party on,
but we know this opportunity isn't going to last.
It is good reason to chill for an eon,
but soon the absurd will aim to relive the past.

But we know this opportunity isn't going to last.
I won't be attending because it's not my way.
Soon the absurd will aim to relive the past
as the pity party's slowly getting under way.
