Ghost Valley

Darkness hides Ghost Valley tonight.
Eerie sounds without the moonlight.
The wind howls through my old cabin.
I wait for some of unknown to happen.

Fire dances of candles flickering flame.
I hear something whisper low my name.
This haunting won't leave me here alone.
Why won't it appear to become known.

Is it feelings of guilt for what I've done.
Haunting dead, or the hate of someone.
Alone in my cabin I'll impatiently wait.
Will the night reveal some horrible fate.

Will this haunting set me free of fright.
I'll wait until dawn and tomorrow night.
To see if this haunting appears to me.
Or will it reveal itself and set me free?
