My oldest son Tyler, two at the time, was enjoying the spoils of having done something cute (in the form of a chocolate chip cookie) when his five month old brother Koty awoke from his nap in a swing chair and began to cry. Instead of running for the hills with his new treasure, Tyler instantly broke his cookie in half and stuffed it into Koty's small hand, gently patting him on the head.
It became a grainy mush between his fingers and all over his smiling face when he had finished it, but Koty has loved chocolate ever since.
