FALL IN VERMONT

The most colorful of them all
is this season we call fall.
-
A morning nip is in the air.
There is beauty everywhere.
-
Pretty leaves float all around
wafting slowly to the ground.
-
Flocks of geese fly overhead.
Squirrels work on a winter bed.
-
It’s one season of the four
can be seen outside the door.
-
Days of autumn come to call,
red and gold; it covers all.
