I am the murder of nightingales sweet feathery caged under church domes litanies incense singing to rain I am she who unloves uncries untangles memories scars kisses unbleeds undreams I am the black Night Mare of silk silence dust galloping galloping dancing on rooftops newspapers clouds promises mornings caresses on pillows blue with desire I am she who after the rain becomes the absence
