LOST She’ll never be the same, in her lifetime of years, losing at loves game, a heart that’s bleeding tears. With eyes red from crying, she stills her shaking hand, feels like she is dying, removes her wedding band. Just letters on a paper, that spelled it was the end, words that destroyed her; unlucky once again. He had written the letter, ink that tore her world apart; this way would be better, he wanted a new start. Thinking of when they first kissed, as she picked up the gun, wondering if she’d be missed, when the act was done. ©1/20/05 Monty
