Lucky Child

Oh sweet child, make a wish
on a shooting star.
Find a four leaf clover
and put it in a jar.

Rub a fuzzy rabbit's foot,
cross your fingers tight.
Knock on wood, just like you should
and you will be all right.

Avoid cracks in the sidewalk,
never break a mirror.
See a penny, pick it up
and good luck will be near.
