Hello, Everyone! Megan and Angel here. It is autumn. It's October and soon will be Halloween again. Wow! Next, it will be snow and winter. Okay. I am still working in mental health and doing scrapbooking and writing. Angel's port won second in Katy Bears Writing Contest. She received a Writing Merit Badge and a lot of points. She is really good at writing and art. I am so happy for her and I just love her.

This month's newsletter is about Halloween. That spooky, cool holiday. Ghosts, Goblins, Black Cats, Vampires, Witches and Spooks! This Holiday is for you.


Here are some ghost stories from me.

In Camden, Maine, a litte girl, wearing a pink hat went to Church with her family and walked up to Maiden's Cliff for a Prayer Service. The wind blew the little girl's hat into the ocean. She went down the hill to get it but fell into the sea on the rocks below and she died. On the Anniversary of a death, you will see a pink hat in the water and hear the little girl screaming.

In St. Augustine, Florida at an Spanish Military Hospital, you will see a man a one legged man roaming the back room who is a ghost.

At the St. Augustine Lighthouse, the ghost of a little girl's face can be seen in the lighthouse windows. I was there at the lighthouse and I didn't see her but this gives me the chills.

In this same town at Francis Inn, doors slam, lights flicker and a man once woke up at the Inn-wedged inside the bed he was sleeping in. It is believed that a ghost of a servant girl did this.

St. Augustine is beautiful but these are same strange ghost stories.

Washington, D.C. Home of George Bush and the Nation's Capitol.
In the Capitol Building, statues of Presidents and Congressmen have been seen walking across the room.

In the basement of the Capitol, a ghost of a black cat appears everytime before there is a disaster. Like before President Kennedy was shot in Dallas the next day.

The ghost of Lincoln can be seen in the White House and also his in his room where he slept.

Dolly Madison's and Abigail Adams' spirits have also been seen in the White House.

In Rhode Island, a vampire was killed and buried in the late 1800's{a vampire? Hard to believe.} The body was buried under a bridge and you can see the vampire when you go over the bridge. A pick up truck follows you out of town. Barnabas. Lisette or Dracula?



One more. In Florida in the early 1900's, at night, some children were coming home and went past a Church. They were attacked and killed by a bear. You can hear the bear and children screaming when you go past the Church at night.
