A Letter to Grampa
I have always bragged about you to my friends. Anyone that I care about knows how much you mean to me. Today, I want you to know it, too. I want you to know how much I have appreciated your constant love. You gave it freely, even when I may not have earned it. I want you to know how thankful I am that you were my first father figure. I learned what a real man should be, by watching you through a child's eyes. I want you to know that you were the model of the man that I looked for and found in my husband. I want you to know that my biggest hope in life is for my children to become the man that you are. I want you to know that you have never disappointed me or made me feel ashamed of myself. And I want you to know just how full my heart is because you are in it. I am blessed to have you as my Grampa. I love you. Happy Birthday!
