Horrible Night

God engulfs the world
with his dark blanket;
and my Hell begins

The things that go bump
cause my heart to race
and fear grow inside.

He slithers towards me as
the scent of Fire and Ice
overcomes me

Before I can react he
overpowers my fragile frame
no one is around to hear
my scream

"You made me do this"
echos through the night
as he slithers away

Now four years later
I still cannot escape
the horror of the night:
all the night when all I had
was stolen away.
