Vagabond
A poem about a wanderer.

Vagabond

I took the beaten road alone,
Hoping to find a companion to follow home.
I've ran along beaches for hours,
Through green plains filled with flowers.
I've walked dry deserts for days,
Trudged through marshlands enveloped in haze.
I've sailed the treacherous seas for weeks,
Crossed frozen tundra further than the eye can seek.
I've been trapped between walls for months,
Survived the pitfalls of life with a brave front.
I've been lost with myself for years,
Living in solitude without any fear.
I've been shadowed by myself for decades,
Wanting to one day break this facade.
For now I'm still alone,
So I'll keep wandering until I find that home.
