These feelings I feel now
Deep within my heart
Bring tears to my eyes

I’m lost in this eternal world
Confused of what I am feeling
Is this what true love is?

I miss you so
And cry, wanting to see you once more
Yet, I feel new feelings
For another, it seems
Who am I?

I love you
Yet, I love another
Why do I have these feelings?
I wish for them to disappear

I loved you
You were my treasure
That I kept locked away within my heart

My body failed to keep me up
And I fell to the cold ground
The tears not stopping
As I missed you so
After you left, and never returned

We had love once,
And we never wanted to part, it seemed
Yet we did.

You walked out that door,
And all I could do was smile
But never could I say
“I love you”

Now, though, we have gone our own ways
And since then, I had promised
To never fall in love again
Yet, I find myself once more
Falling into the depths of love

I love him so,
Yet, I still wish to see you
As a beloved friend
Locked away in my treasure chest
Full of those fond memories

I wish you all the happiness in the world
As I do, for all my beloved friends
And I want to thank you,
For I have gained so much from you

Now, I know
What I must do
And I cannot
Make that same mistake once more
For, the pain that I believed love brought
Also brings brightness into this everlasting life

So, I wish to, someday
Tell this person that I love them
And I wish for you,
To also find that special someone
That you’ll cherish and wrap your arms around
Keeping them warm
While telling them how much
You love them
