2nd Entry for
LIGHT OF LIBERTY Here within my mind, you sent an arrow true embedded in my heart, the arrow fired by you. You are my country, the Red, White and Blue. I am your soldier, what am I to do? Three years have passed by, since this war was begun. U.S. casualties number, nineteen hundred and some. The Statue of Liberty, is ingrained within my soul, But is it for war or peace, That light that she holds? The Flag of my country, may it forever stand, for peace when it’s possible, waving o’er this land. 10/27/05 Monty
