Somewhere along the way

by stargirl

Somewhere along the way,
The world has gone astray.
Everyone worried about their own successes,
And upon hearing the Word give their own excuses.
Some are afraid that it's too good to be true,
They argue from their confusion and don't have a clue.
Some say it's too miraculous and completely impossible,
So they categorize it with fairy tales and say it's not logical.
Some just don't want to believe,
So the gift of God they don't receive.
Some say they have plenty of time to turn from their ways,
And so they'll believe till the end of their days.
Some are just never told,
Unaware of the suffering that they're to behold.
All of these people are lost in a world of sin, off coarse,
Heading to a place that's a hundred times worse.
We have a message that we must give,
And to be an example in the way that we live.
Some share the message through the magic of art,
Some speak the words that go right to the heart,
Some share the message through music and song,
However you share it, it won't be wrong.
Still others will use their testimony to share the love of God
The message is unchanging, no method is too odd.
To save our world that's in need,
You must at first plant the seed.
To have the question left behind.
Left in their thoughts for them to find.
The answer is out there to heal their pain.
They have nothing to loose and everything to gain.
