Entry for Lynn Hicks "Take My Phrase, Please: Round 26"
PILLOW TALK If I were the pillow you sleep on each night I’d hide under the bed and out of your sight. ~ You go to bed smiling, a glint in your eye, if that pillow could talk it surely would cry. ~ You could gently fluff it and make it fatter but you choose to pound it, making it flatter. ~ If you have a bad day and things don’t go right, you talk to that pillow about half the night. ~ If someone makes you mad, the pillow you fight, pounding out its feathers, the room is a sight. ~ Tonight you lost at cards, when you played Nillo I’d take a real long trip, if I were a pillow. 11/7/05 Monty Nillo is a variation on the card game of 500 for those who didn't know
