Deep within the forest primeval, Far away from the unbelievers’ eyes, In a magical and secret place, Where the gentle green dragon resides. Children love this amazing creature, Who has the bluest colored sapphire eyes, Massive wings and bright green metallic scales, Gentle and jolly for one his size. He tells many wonderful stories, As only this gentle green dragon can, Of castles, fair princesses, and brave knights, In a far away mystical land. But as is the way with all children, They will grow up and no longer believe. And though the dragon is saddened with loss, More children will come to believe. (word count:105)
