Nobody can ever break my heart like you
Cause you know you really broke it in two We had the best love that could ever be We had a special love, just you and me I thought that you'd be there for me in the end I thought I could count on you as my friend But fate intervened, and took you away Now my heartache and sadness are here to stay Since you've been gone, I can hardly go on Life's just not the same, and there is no one Who understands me quite the way you did You could even see all the feelings I hid The night that you left was the worst one yet I wish I had told you; I'll always regret How much I love you; but didn't you know There was love in my heart that I couldn't show But time just keeps going on, and so My longing for you continues to grow Don't know if I'll ever see you again Meanwhile in my life there have been other men But no one will ever even come close To loving me like you, cause you were the most Wonderful person that I've ever known You wouldn't believe just how much I've grown I'll never find anyone quite like you I'm lost and afraid, don't know what to do You were the best thing that I ever had My world revolved around you, didn't it, Dad?
