The lies you've told have hurt us all
A single heart has twice been broken A friendship's had a near fatal fall And still you have the nerve to call Each of us you used in turn Like a puppeteer our strings you did pull With apologies much smaller does the anger burn Perhaps in time to stay away will we learn You seemed so nice and so much fun But in one night everything seemed to change In the end, when all is done The weight you put on us is greater than the sun To think of what you’ve done is hard to bare Such pain and anger was ignited in us To think that we believed you could care Through our hearts and souls your lies did tear
