It’s Not Another Free for All
Quizmo LaGrande We can free ourselves, take heed our souls; Or live each day conducting polls Of what it may be like to try Living like the “other” guy. Is the grass as green, the car as mean, The driveway proper serpentine? Locked in greed to be the best Is not the way we ought to test Another day of who we are, Where we came from, why we’re stars. It’s not about the guy next door But the one inside—your heart, your core. Live up to who you truly are; Many lives you’ve honed, so far, To find your wisdom, granted fair, Understanding oft to bear. Though life’s surprises fill the urn, Each day’s a lesson to be learned. It’s not another free for all; It’s illuminating your life's call! * * *
