What of Memory
A poem about loss and hopeful forgiveness.

My mind is at ease
so simply put;
please,
As your last recollection
Remember me

and the way we would shiver through the Mississippi river
Fading away with our temptations.
Breathing
Breathing
Softly, slowly and
closer away from me.

Your hands grow numb and my fingers fall away
And your gone beneath the water
Another murky day.
