HIGH WINDS AND SNOW - A Tritina

Winter is coming with high winds and snow
A taste of it first, just a squall
With the months of bitter cold ahead

Nestled inside my house, looking ahead -
Happiest during this sudden squall
Listening to the winds, watching the snow

As it drifts slowly down, flakes of snow
Swirl in the air then racing on ahead
I enjoy the sights and sounds of the squall

A snow squall lasts only until Spring bounces in to reawaken the Earth, warmth lies ahead.
