The worst day of my life (yet)... the day my father passed away.

I was eleven
Going on seven
Little did I know
How bad things would go
Before I turned twelve
(My life went to hell)
It happened so fast
I barely could grasp
What was happening
But I felt death's sting
When you passed away
(I still curse that day)
Each year when it's near
I relive that fear
I miss you so much
Life's really been tough
But maybe one day
It will be okay
And then I can say
You came back to stay
When I sleep at night
Is when we reunite
If heaven's the same
I'll know your name
You'll hold my hand
And I'll understand
Nothing can keep
Our love asleep
Not even death
Yeah, so God saith
