WINTER’S SIN
Snow falls on mountain hills In valley’s cold and towns Small children cry with frozen bones No food, no bed, no home They fill the world this winter’s night Fighting to stay alive A long hard night a prize for those As a gift to those who survive Still some will fall to death’s torment To no longer live alone A Christmas present their release For their final journey home So spare a thought this Christmas time For life’s not all hope and cheer Many souls will lose their life Never to see New Year
