Death is knocking,
Yet I do not cry. I knew this day would come. Think not of this as the end, Here is where I truly begin. I feel arms surround me Comforting me, Protecting me. Telling me not to be afraid. A place, soon I will see. So incredible No human mind can comprehend. But in spite of God's Spirit, Telling me my joyous day is near, Sorrow fills my heart. I gaze at the people I love, And see the pain in their eyes, How can I tell them not to grieve? That I will feel no more pain, No more tears will fall From the eyes I will recieve. And a body that Death will never know. I also feel remorse For even I must say goodbye But with God our Father, Jesus our Savior, I will patiently wait To see you all again.
