Lip gloss applied with tiny grains
Sticking to the tip of the tongue

Unfulfilled reveries
Plastered across every inch
Leaving the heart gasping for breath.

Unwilling acceptance
Stinging the eyes with flashes of white
Stabbing deep into the soul.

Heavy footsteps
Weary from endless meandering
Searching for a tiny escape.
