The School

I love my school
Which taught me the ABC's
And that helped me to count 123's
That gave me lot of good friends

I love my school
Which taught me the community living
And that made me color-blind
Where I had friends from all nations and races

I love my school
For the exam heat
Where I toiled so hard
To get good grades

I love my school
For those holidays
When I played with my friends
Finders - Keepers and many other games

I love my school
That taught me about the fourth of july
About our independence day
Where colorful fire-bombs burst out everywhere

I love my school
For those glorious days
Where we had nothing to worry about
About jobs and taxes

I love my school
For the yellow school bus
That comes to pick me up
And that was always on time

I love my school
And the teachers
That gave me confidence and knowledge
To understand how the outside world is

I love my school
As the years pass by
For all those sweet memories
That I will cherish all through my life !
