A Prayer From The Roof The air is very thin and cold, it's extremely hard to breathe. I'm praying in a blinding storm, kneeling down on bended knees. We really are a sorrowful lot and I fear we all will freeze. The howling winds are blowing in at minus thirty six degrees. So three of us are dead tonight. God almighty save us please! Give me strength to carry on for in you, I do believe. From the roof of the world to you and across the gentle seas Lord hear this humble prayer, let us reach the valley trees. The Himalayas beckoned us, whispers in a cool spring breeze. Guide us safely back to base camp, hear me pray from bended knees. ![]()
