She’ll never read the poem I wrote for her I’ll never hear about her undying love for me She’ll never feel my lips touching hers I’ll never get to undress her again with my eyes We’ll never share another embrace… I’ll tell myself that I can find another lover She won’t remember the times we had I’ll try not to think of her not thinking of me She’ll be calling out another’s name and I won’t know why We’ll have lost all that we have gained… She may think of me in one of her quiet moments I may think about our highly passionate nights She may not want to hear my voice or see my face I will never forget the beauty of her body and face We were one, now we are none…
